Aims: One Parent Families|Gingerbread is the leading national charity working to help the UK’s 1.9 million lone parents and their children by offering information and advice lone parents can trust, through our telephone helpline, publications, website and lone parent membership. We offer specialist advice, information, and signposting to other sources of help, on all issues affecting lone parent families, eg benefits, tax credits, separation and divorce, contact disputes, child maintenance, returning to work, housing, maternity rights, lone parenthood.
